• Sommario/riassunto: Unlike other itineraries, Jacqueline Sublet's one is perfectly clear. History guides him throughout, but not just any. From the outset, the search for the document is essential there, as an essential means of access to knowledge of various circles: merchants, jurists, civil servants foremost among whom Ibn al-Suqāʿī, a major witness to the interest shown by Jacqueline Sublet in the Mamluk era.
