A continuation of John Lydgate's "The fall of princes", which is a translation of Giovanni Boccaccio's "De casibus illustrium virorum".
Parts 1, 2, and 4 of "A mirror for magistrates" were written by John Higgins, Thomas Blenerhasset, and Richard Niccols respectively; this third part was in fact written before the others.
The verso of leaf 161 is numbered fol. 162.
A reissue of the 1574 edition, with the first quire reprinted.
