An ordinance of the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament [[electronic resource] ] : for the explanation of the weekly assessment in London. And that the City of London shall have the public faith of the kingdom, fot [sic] the re-payment of 24000 li. for every 40000 li. that shall be monthly collected, and paid in by the said city; upon the said ordinance, for which, the Lord Maior and aldermen only are to be committees: the common-council men and aldermens deputies being hereby discharged of the pains and trouble thereof.
