An ordinance of the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament that no wharfinger, woodmonger, or other seller of New-Castle coales, within the cities of London and Westminster, or the suburbes thereof, shall after the making hereof sell any New-Castle coales, above the rate of 23 s. the chaldron, and after the first of Aprill next, above 20 s. at the most. An ordinance of the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament concerning the names of the committee for the associated counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridge, Hertford and Huntington: together with instructions for the said committee. Also, three speciall orders; viz. 1. That the Divines of the Assembly that are resiants [sic] of the associated counties, and now attending the Assembly, be desired to go down into their severall counties, to stir up the people to rise for their defence. 2. That the Lord Generall the Earl of Essex, be desired to grant a commission to the Earl of Manchester, to be Sergeant Major Generall of all the forces of the six associated counties. 3. That the said six associated counties shall forthwith raise a body of ten thousand foot and dragoons to withstand the enemy. An ordinance of the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament with an oath or covenant to be taken by all persons within the city of London, or line of communication for the better securing of the Parliament, the cities of London and Westminster, with the suburbs therof and parts adjacent, in these times of imminent danger. And that the committee for the militia of London shall have power to punish all such as shall weare any colours or marks of division in the said city, or execute them according to martiall law. Being also further authorized to take order (as occasion shall require) for the shutting up of shops within the said cities, &c. to the end that all persons may be in a readinesse and fitting posture for defence therof. An ordinance of the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament that no wharsinger, woodmonger, or other seller of New-Castle coales within the cities of London and Westminster or the suburbes thereof, shall after the making hereof sell any New-Castle coales, above the rate of 23 s. the chaldron, and after the first of Aprill next, above 20 s. at the most : and if any shall wilfully transgresse this ordinance, they shall be committed to prison, and there continue untill they shall conforme themselves thereunto : and the lord maior and sheriffs of the city of London and Middlesex, are hereby required to see this put in execution

An ordinance of the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament for the securing those apprentices from indempnity, that will list themselves under the command of Sir William Waller. Also, two speciall orders, viz. I. That all truncks, and other carriages that come out of the city, be searched at the Courts of Guards; and those to be tryed by a councell of war, that shall send either flax, brimstone or saltpeter, or other provision for war, by water or land these ten dayes, without license.
