| Sommario/riassunto: | "The equations for the analysis of ac machines are established from Tesla's rotating magnetic field which contains the transformation for symmetrical two- and three-phase variables to the arbitrary reference frame. This allows the voltage and flux linkage equations to be expressed in any frame of reference by simply assigning the speed of the reference frame. The transformation is nothing more than a means of expressing the variables (voltages and currents) that portray Tesla's rotating magnetic field from a given reference frame. This establishes a meaning to the transformation and makes it easier to understand"-- |
