| Sommario/riassunto: | Douglas Cubbison, the Command Historian for the 10th Mountain Division, conducted a series of interviews with the soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division in Afghanistan during January 2007, along with several additional interviews conducted in February 2007 at Fort Drum, New York. The interviews are fairly wide ranging in the topics covered but all center around one particularly memorable event for the soldier being interviewed, such as an ambush, a patrol, a firefight, a helicopter crash, or a hero ceremony. This transcript is from the interview with First Lieutenant Jorgensen, Bravo Troop, 3rd Squadron, 71st Cavalry, conducted on 22 January 2007 at Forward Operating Base Naray, Afghanistan. |
