By the King a proclamation James R [[electronic resource] ] : Whereas we have by a proclamation bearing date the 20th of January 1689, declared and ordained that meadows should be fenced in and preserved, and by another proclamation ordained that no person or persons whatsoever should presume to graze any horses or cattel in any of the said meadows .
