Sommario/riassunto: | Almost all (Protestant) major churches in Germany introduced employee or personnel development talks across the board after the turn of the millennium. In the Hannoversche Landeskirche their introduction as "annual talks" was discussed particularly broadly. The present work examines these discussions as an expression of a changed self-image of the entire leadership practice of the Protestant churches and places them in the context of the debates on the church's “organizational reform”, which have dealt with the practice and theory of the church since the 1990s. Based on the visitation, a model is developed that describes and differentiates church leadership and the associated conflicts and areas of tension in three basic dimensions. When applied to the annual talks, conflict structures and problem areas are made visible. In this way, personnel development and personnel management in the churches are subjected to a deeper practical-theological reflection. |
