Sommario/riassunto: With the research of German-language children's and youth literature and its media associations in the period from 1900 to 1945 as well as the recording of all data in an online portal for research and visual analysis, an innovative contribution to the historiography of children's and youth literature is available. The first part of the volume contains three overview articles on the media of radio, film and theater for children and young people, as well as a contribution on the conception and development of the online portal. In the second part, 18 selected media alliances are presented. This book is a translation of the original German 1st edition Deutschsprachige Kinder- und Jugendliteratur im Medienverbund 1900-1945 edited by Petra Josting, Marlene Antonia Illies, Matthias Preis & Annemarie Weber, published by J.B.Metzler, part of Springer Nature in 2020. The translation was done with the help of artificial intelligence (machine translation bythe service DeepL.com). A subsequent human revision was done primarily in terms of content, so that the book will read stylistically differently from a conventional translation. Springer Nature works continuously to further the development of tools for the production of books and on the related technologies to support the authors.
