Both designate the initials as those of the translator, but the preface clearly states that the "worthy and learned Gentleman the translator hereof ... bestowed the same [translation] vpon mee; and I as freely tender it to others"; which seems to indicate that T.G. is not the translator.; Reproduction of original in: Bodleian Library.
