| Sommario/riassunto: | The advent of digital has led in recent years a profound transformation of models of production and circulation of books, which have changed little since the XVIII th century. The web, in particular, has called into question the very meaning of knowledge sharing: from an economy of scarcity, we have gone overboard. Previously, a handful of centralizing institutions, private and public, were the guarantors of the choice, evaluation and distribution of content; today, there are no more systems of legitimation, or they are destructured. After noting the crisis of these models and the difficulty of proposing new ones, this book presents the complex issues and challenges of the new world of digital publishing. |
