The author analyzes Noctes Atticae based on narratological criteria, develops associative links between the sections, and illuminates the agonal relationship between narrator and implicit reader.; Mit den Noctes Atticae hat der lateinische Autor Aulus Gellius eine Sammlung von Kurztexten verfasst, die einer Ästhetik der Variation folgt. Die Arbeit strebt eine literarische Würdigung der Kurztexte sowie der Sammlung als ganzer an.
