In Senate of the United States, March 23, 1824. Mr. Johnson, of Kentucky, from the Committee on Military Affairs, to whom was referred the memorial of Col. William Duane, reported: That the claims of the petitioner may be divided into classes: 1st, claims for military works ; 2d, claims suspended for want of sufficient regular vouchers and want of vouchers supposed to be lost .
