• Sommario/riassunto: The volume "Around Boccaccio. Boccaccio and surroundings 2015" was born from the international seminar that was held in Certaldo on 9 September 2015, the second realization of an initiative to which the National Institute Giovanni Boccaccio has decided to give an annual periodicity. The aim of these seminars, aimed primarily at young scholars, is to collect and develop the job perspectives that emerged with the centenary of 2013 and to offer a place for discussion to new ongoing research. The topics dealt with in the course of the seminar, attentive to the Latin and vulgar Boccaccio, address (with greater attention to the Decameron) aspects of tradition and textual criticism, history of language, literary criticism and history of miniature.
