Foundries, food and drink producers and plastic manufacturers are just some examples of industrial SMEs where energy consumption and waste are significant, in terms of cost to the business and impact on the environment. To help industry deal with these and other challenges, the Intelligent Energy – Europe initiative continues to support projects with real aims and practical solutions that benefit businesses, the environment and citizens.
