In the Senate of the United States. July 22, 1856. -- Submitted, agreed to, and ordered to be printed. Mr. Allen made the following report: On the 26th of June, the Senate of the United States ordered that the Committee on Agriculture be directed to enquire into the expediency of making a specific appropriation for the importation of seed sugar cane for gratuitous distribution to the sugar planters of the United States .
