| Sommario/riassunto: | Peter is among a group of children who are transported to England as part of the Kindertransport, an program initiated by England to save the children of Nazi Germany. But life in England holds its changes as well as he works at a farm in Coventry. When the Coventry farm is bombed by the Nazis as they invade England, Peter decides he must stand and fight Hitler. He returns to Germany to join the Jewish underground resistance, search for his remaining family left behind in Berlin, and rescue his childhood friend, Eva, who had not been given a seat on the Kindertransport. |
