Mr. White, from the Committee on Indian Affairs, made the following report: The Committee on Indian Affairs, to whom was referred the memorial of John Ross, Richard Taylor, Daniel McCoy, Hair Conrad, and John Timpson [i.e. Timson], delegated from the Cherokees residing east of the Mississippi .

Mr. Barton made the following report: The Committee on Public Lands, to whom was referred the petition of John Reily, report: That, by an act of the State of Georgia, passed February 25, 1784, any citizen of Georgia, or of the United States, was authorized to obtain a warrant of survey, for any quantity of unlocated land .
