William R [[electronic resource] ] : Whereas the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and the Knights, Citizens and Burgesses in Parliament Assembled, Having taken in to their serious consideration, the great mischeifs which this our kingdom lies under, by reason that the coin, which passes in payment, is generally clipped; .

These are to give notice [[electronic resource] ] : that the Right Honourable the Lords of His Majesty's Treasury, have been pleas'd to send down for the benefit of this city, and the counties adjacent, one thousand weight of silver, value three thousand pounds, and upwards, to the mint here, to be coyn'd .
