Cain's generation discover'd [[electronic resource] ] : In ansvver to an epistle directed to the reader, in a book titled, A short and full vindication of that svveet and comfortable ordinance, of singing of Psalms. Put forth by one Jonathan Clapham, vvho calls himself M.A. and minister of Christ in VVramplingham in Norffolk; wherein he is found in envy, in Cain's way, in his false accusations and fierce despising and envious railing against the innocent, which is answered by me whose name in the flesh is George VVhitehead, who am one of them who are called Quakers, ... and wee having answered before six of his chief arguments for singing Psalms, which are answered in that book called, Davids enemies discovered, which this priest Clapham durst not answer nor reply to; therefore he makes excuse to the reader, that we left out some of his arguments, for the which cause I am moved further to answer to some of his arguments concerning singing, .
