Here beginneth the Voyage of Master John Eldred to Tripolis2 in Syria by sea, and from thence by land and river to Babylon3 and BalsaraHere is set a Letter of Master John Newbery, written from Aleppo to Master Richard Hakluyt4 of Oxford, the 28th of May, Anno 1583.; And here another Letter of the said Master Newbery; written to Master Leonard Poore of London, from Aleppo, the 29th May, 1583.; Here is continued the Relation of Master John Eldred:; Here is set a Letter of Master John Eldred to G.S.3 Written in Bagdet the 14th day of July, 1583.
And here a Letter of Master John Newbery to Master William Hareborne1, Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Grand Signior2 at Constantinople, communicated to Purchas3 by Master John Sanderson.
