Mr. Woodbury made the following report: The Committee on Naval Affairs, to which was referred the petition of Charles Yeaton, ask leave to report: That the petitioner appears to have sailed from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, in June, A.D. 1813, as a mariner in a privateer ; that said privateer was captured soon after by a British frigate .
