• Sommario/riassunto: This e-book is a production of the Graduate Program in Education for Science - PPGEC - of the Faculty of Sciences of UNESP, campus of Bauru, and is part of the Digital Publications Program of the Dean of Graduate Studies, in partnership with Fundação Editora da UNESP, whose main objective is the dissemination of research carried out by the University's Graduate Programs. The series "Teaching of Sciences and Mathematics" started in 2009 and aims, through research from theses, dissertations and research groups, to disseminate and foster the discussion on Science and Mathematics teaching processes analyzed from different perspectives theoretical and methodological. This series covers recent themes that are always present in the discussions of important scientific events, national and international, in the area of ​​Education for Science and Mathematics. Among these themes, they highlight: teacher training, concept training, Information Technologies, teaching processes, among others. This work is entitled "Teaching of Sciences and Mathematics IV: research themes" because it conveys research that addresses current and important topics studied by graduate students and teachers of the Program, such as, for example, assessment, teaching practice, robotics, pedagogical practice , Digital TV, non-school education, among others. Such investigations are the results of research developed in the Program: some are the results of theses and dissertations and others were produced by research groups. Teachers who teach Science and Mathematics, at different levels of education, and researchers who develop studies in these areas may have easy access to this work, since it will be available on the Internet, which can contribute to the debate on the teaching and learning of these two fields of knowledge, as well as providing new studies based on the results presented in these researches.
