The authors wanted to proceed by stages, first of all accompanying the participants on a historical journey, in which they led a reflection on the inevitable relationship between man-civilization-climate; subsequently, they wanted to highlight the socio-economic aspects of the phenomenon and finally, they brought to the attention the research activity carried out in the Interuniversity Research Center of Aerodynamics of Construction and Wind Engineering, throwing a look at some of the engineering examples of the latest generation which by their nature have a strong link with wind action. |
