Sommario/riassunto: The two-volume set LNCS 10484 and 10485 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 19th International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing, ICIAP 2017, held in Catania, Italy, in September 2017. The 138 papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 229 submissions. The papers cover both classic and the most recent trends in image processing, computer vision, and pattern recognition, addressing both theoretical and applicative aspects.
