Sommario/riassunto: | This collection brings together a group of scholars to discuss the operation of ""the public"" in a range of different legal spaces. The work provides a synoptic overview of the instantiations of ""the public"" which appear in a number of legal spheres and attempts to ascertain whether the notion can have coherent or congruent meanings across these heterogeneous domains. A key question which frames the contributions is whether ""the public"" operates as a bona fide interface between law and society. |
