Peake's name from imprint on engraving of St. Matthew with the angel (inserted following t.p.); publication date conjectured by STC to be 1637. They are usually bound with Bibles or prayer books of 1637 or later. One is of King David and is evidently intended for the Sternhold and Hopkins metrical Psalms often bound with the Bible.
