The laws of England weighed in this threefold balance, & found too light. 1. In their originall, force, power, conquest, or constraint. 2. In their rule, corrupt will, or principles of unrighteousnesse and wrong. 3. In their end, the grievance, trouble, and bondage of the people. III.
