The aim of this specific rhetoric has been described as irritating or "destabilizing". However, little attention has been given to the techniques and elements of his rhetoric. The work focuses on the early dialogues of Plato, since they provide rich material for Socrates' irritating rhetoric and depict him using an ample range of different strategies."-- |
