• Sommario/riassunto: The Incident Command System (ICS) is a management tool for coordinating incidents or events that may exceed the daily capacity to respond. Most Caribbean countries have adopted the ICS as their standard for emergency response and operational deployment. It is critical to provide training for all first responders (i.e., law enforcement, fire, or emergency medical services personnel) who may be called upon to function in an ICS environment. The need for training extends to NGOs as well.
