• Sommario/riassunto: The contributions in this volume, a sequel to the volume published in 1986 (SiHoLS 34), treat many aspects of the history of the language sciences in Spain and in Hibero-America, from the Renaissance and 'Siglo de Oro' to the 20th century. Most papers were published in the journal Historiographia Linguistica; they were complemented with a few invited papers.
