This study places the Elisha material firmly within the narrative of Genesis-2 Kings, and examines the effect these stories have on the reader's perception of the role of the 'prophet'. Using the narratological theories of Mieke Bal, David Jobling and others, Bergen shows that the Elisha stories present prophetism in a negative light, confining prophets to a rather limited scope of action in the narrative world. 410 4$aThe Library of Hebrew Bible/Old Testament Studies 606 $aProphets 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aProphets. 676 $a222.54092 700 $aBergen$b Wesley J$0922933 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910453954603321 996 $aElisha and the end of prophetism$92070933 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01271cam0 2200301 450 001 E600200009954 005 20221012094658.0 100 $a20050510d1995 |||||ita|0103 ba 101 $aita 102 $aIT 105 $a S 200 1 $a<>odore dell'anima$esculture di Lello Esposito$fintroduzione di Achille Bonito Oliva 210 $aNapoli$cIstituto universitario Suor Orsola Benincasa$d1995 215 $a41 p.$cill.$d22x25 cm 300 $aCatalogo della mostra tenuta a Napoli, 25 febbraio-4 marzo 1995 702 1$aBonito Oliva, Achille$3AF00009678$4070 702 1$aEsposito, Lello$3A600200031305$4070 801 0$aIT$bUNISOB$c20221012$gRICA 850 $aUNISOB 852 $aUNISOB$j700|Opusc$m88007 852 $aUNISOB$jFondo|De|Sanctis|F$m154703 912 $aE600200009954 940 $aM 102 Monografia moderna SBN 941 $aM 957 $a700|Opusc$b000083$gSI$d88007$rDono$1pregresso3$2UNISOB$3UNISOB$420050510100028.0$520111129122704.0$6menle 957 $aFondo|De|Sanctis|F$bCLXXX (180)$gCON$d154703$hDeSanctisF$rdono$tN$1menle$2UNISOB$3UNISOB$420111129122706.0$520221012094658.0$6bethb$fPer le modalità di consultazione vedi homepage della Biblioteca link Fondi 996 $aOdore dell'anima$91671217 997 $aUNISOB
