The Prüfer extensions of a commutative ring A are roughly those commutative ring extensions R / A,where commutative algebra is governed by Manis valuations on R with integral values on A. These valuations then turn out to belong to the particularly amenable subclass of PM (=Prüfer-Manis) valuations. While in Volume I Prüfer extensions in general and individual PM valuations were studied, now the focus is on families of PM valuations. One highlight is the presentation of a very general and deep approximation theorem for PM valuations, going back to Joachim Gräter's work in 1980, a far-reaching extension of the classical weak approximation theorem in arithmetic. Another highlight is a theory of so called 'Kronecker extensions,' where PM valuations are put to use in arbitrary commutative ring extensions in a way that ultimately goes back to the work of Leopold Kronecker 650 0$aAlgebra 700 1 $aKaiser, Tobias$eauthor$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0524807 773 0 $aSpringer eBooks 776 08$aPrinted edition:$z9783319032115 856 40$uhttp://link.springer.com/book/10.1007%2F978-3-319-03212-2$zAn electronic book accessible through the World Wide Web 907 $a.b14259187$b03-03-22$c22-07-16 912 $a991002951599707536 996 $aManis valuations and Prüfer extensions II$9820720 997 $aUNISALENTO 998 $ale013$b22-07-16$cm$d@ $e-$feng$gsz $h0$i0 LEADER 01567nam a2200301 i 4500 001 991000390929707536 008 060630s1995 nyu bu 000 0 eng d 035 $ab13850234-39ule_inst 040 $aDip.to Ingegneria dell'Innovazione$beng 082 0 $a612.014 245 00$aMechanical vibration and shock-Evaluation of human exposure to whole-body vibration.$nPart1$pGeneral requirements :$bANSI S3.18-2002 /$cAmerican National Standard, secretariat Acoustical Society of America (ASA) 246 13$aANSI S3.18-2002 246 13$aISO 2631-1: 1997 260 $aMelville, NY :$bAcoustical Society of America,$c2002 300 $aiv, 31 p. :$bill. ;$c28 cm 440 0$aAmerican national standard ;$vANSI S3.18-2002 500 $aAccredited Standard Committee S3, Bioacoustics 504 $aIncludes bibliographical references 650 4$aVibration$xPhysiological effect$xStandards 650 4$aHuman engineering$xStandards 710 2 $aAcoustical Society of America.$bStandards Secretariat$eauthor$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0731182 710 2 $aAmerican National Standards Institute.$bStandards Committee S3, Bioacustics 907 $a.b13850234$b28-01-14$c08-10-09 912 $a991000390929707536 945 $aLE026 NOR ANSI S3.18 2002$g1$i2026000030883$lle026$nProf. Messina / Biblioteca$op$pE181.08$q-$rn$s- $t1$u2$v0$w2$x0$y.i15124459$z06-05-10 996 $aMechanical vibration and shock-Evaluation of human exposure to whole-body vibration$91440388 997 $aUNISALENTO 998 $ale026$b30-06-06$cm$da $e-$feng$gnyu$h0$i0
