The structural model was tested among a sample of 1286 rural and urban 8th grade students, across five western states. Marte's results indicate that family conflict and parental monitoring partially mediated the influence of neighborhood risk on adolescents' participation in delinquency, drug use, and aggressive behaviors. In turn, adolescents' ability to control their anger mediated the influence of family conflict on their participation in problem behaviors. 410 0$aCriminal justice (LFB Scholarly Publishing LLC) 606 $aJuvenile delinquency$zUnited States 606 $aAggressiveness in adolescence$zUnited States 606 $aDrug abuse$zUnited States 615 0$aJuvenile delinquency 615 0$aAggressiveness in adolescence 615 0$aDrug abuse 676 $a364.360973 700 $aMarte$b Ricardo M.$f1973-$01808823 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910957367203321 996 $aAdolescent problem behaviors$94359289 997 $aUNINA
