Conclusion: Summary, Areas for Future Research and Implications for Social Work Practice. 330 $aFamily Group Conferences are seen as a progressive and influential form of practice in child welfare across the globe. This book examines and identifies variations in independent advocacy provision offered to young people and their families in relation to undertaking a FGC, and discusses how these can impact the outcomes both positively and negatively for young people involved. Using critical discourse analysis and an original theoretical framework, the outcomes of advocacy provision are examined from participants' perspectives prior to, during, and after the FGC process has been completed. The analysis develops themes that are discussed comprehensively and recommendations are made for the enhancement of advocacy provision generally, and, for young people involved in FGC specifically. . 606 $aJuvenile delinquents 606 $aCrime$xSociological aspects 606 $aCritical criminology 606 $aSocial service 606 $aSociology 606 $aSocial groups 606 $aYouth Offending and Juvenile Justice 606 $aCrime and Society 606 $aCritical Criminology 606 $aSocial Work 606 $aSociology of Family, Youth and Aging 615 0$aJuvenile delinquents. 615 0$aCrime$xSociological aspects. 615 0$aCritical criminology. 615 0$aSocial service. 615 0$aSociology. 615 0$aSocial groups. 615 14$aYouth Offending and Juvenile Justice. 615 24$aCrime and Society. 615 24$aCritical Criminology. 615 24$aSocial Work. 615 24$aSociology of Family, Youth and Aging. 676 $a362.8286 700 $aFox$b Darrell$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0926824 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910300051203321 996 $aFamily Group Conferencing with Children and Young People$92081491 997 $aUNINA
