Mastering complex systems requires an integrated understanding of industrial practices as well as sophisticated theoretical techniques and tools. This explains the creation of an annual go-between European and Asian forum dedicated to academic researchers and industrial actors working on complex industrial systems architecting, modeling and engineering. These proceedings cover the most recent trends in the emerging field of complex systems, both from an academic and professional perspective. A special focus was put this year on ?New Trends in Complex Systems Engineering.? The CSD&M series of conferences were initiated under the guidance of CESAM Community in Europe, managed by CESAMES. Its Asian version took place in Singapore for three consecutive sessions during 2014 and 2018. The fourth Asian edition was held in Beijing in hybrid with the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA) as the co-organizer in 2021. Since 2023, its European and Asian conferences merge into one, taking place in China and Europe in turn. CESAM Community aims in organizing the sharing of good practices in systems architecting and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and certifying the level of knowledge and proficiency in this field through the CESAM certification. The CESAM systems architecting, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) certification is especially currently the most disseminated professional certification in the world in this domain through more than 3,000 real complex system development projects on which it was operationally deployed and around 10,000 engineers who were trained on the CESAM framework at international level. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Electrical Engineering,$x1876-1119 ;$v1085 606 $aSystem theory 606 $aIndustrial engineering 606 $aProduction engineering 606 $aComplex Systems 606 $aIndustrial and Production Engineering 615 0$aSystem theory. 615 0$aIndustrial engineering. 615 0$aProduction engineering. 615 14$aComplex Systems. 615 24$aIndustrial and Production Engineering. 676 $a530.1 700 $aKrob$b Daniel$01320162 701 $aLi$b Lefei$01349791 701 $aZhang$b Xinguo$01431247 701 $aYao$b Junchen$01431248 701 $aGuo$b Mengyu$01431249 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910746975003321 996 $aComplex Systems Design & Management$93573355 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04946nam 22008295 450 001 9910300152303321 005 20250410122045.0 010 $a0-8176-4811-9 024 7 $a10.1007/978-0-8176-4811-4 035 $a(CKB)3710000000119053 035 $a(Springer)9780817648114 035 $a(MH)014079046-2 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001241572 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11704825 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001241572 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)11230222 035 $a(PQKB)10642378 035 $a(DE-He213)978-0-8176-4811-4 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6314373 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC1781926 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL1781926 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10976357 035 $a(OCoLC)923710548 035 $a(PPN)178784524 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000119053 100 $a20140517d2014 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurnn#008mamaa 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aContingency Table Analysis $eMethods and Implementation Using R /$fby Maria Kateri 205 $a1st ed. 2014. 210 1$aNew York, NY :$cSpringer New York :$cImprint: Birkhäuser,$d2014. 215 $a1 online resource (XVII, 304 p. 21 illus., 8 illus. in color.)$conline resource 225 1 $aStatistics for Industry and Technology,$x2364-625X 300 $aBibliographic Level Mode of Issuance: Monograph 311 08$a0-8176-4810-0 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references (pages 275-300) and index. 327 $aPreface -- Introduction -- Analysis of Two-Way Tables -- Analysis of Multi-Way Tables -- Log-Linear Models -- Generalized Linear Models and Extensions -- Association Models -- More on Association Models and Related Methods -- Response Variable Analysis in Contingency Tables -- Analysis of Square Tables -- Further Topics. 330 $aCombining theory and applications, this book presents models and methods for the analysis of two? and multi?dimensional contingency tables. The author uses a threefold approach: fundamental models and related inferences are presented, their interpretational aspects are highlighted, and their practical usefulness is demonstrated. Throughout, practical guidance for using R is provided along with a comprehensive R-functions web-appendix.   Contingency tables arise in diverse fields, including the life, pedagogic, social and political sciences. They also play a prominent role in market research and opinion surveys. The analysis of contingency tables can provide insight into essential structures, relevant quantities and their interactions, and thus leads to improved decision-making.   Special features include:   ·         A motivating example for each topic ·         Applications and implementations in R for all models discussed ·         Emphasis on association and symmetry models ·         Extensive bibliography ·         Up-to-date supplementary material available on the author?s website   An excellent reference for graduate students, researchers, and practitioners in statistics as well as in the biosciences and social sciences, Contingency Table Analysis may also be used as a supplementary textbook for courses on categorical data analysis with emphasis on special models for ordinal data. Prerequisites include basic background knowledge of statistical inference. 410 0$aStatistics for Industry and Technology,$x2364-625X 606 $aStatistics 606 $aSocial sciences$xStatistical methods 606 $aBiometry 606 $aMathematical statistics$xData processing 606 $aMathematics 606 $aStatistical Theory and Methods 606 $aStatistics in Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Education, Behavorial Sciences, Public Policy 606 $aBiostatistics 606 $aStatistics and Computing 606 $aApplications of Mathematics 615 0$aStatistics. 615 0$aSocial sciences$xStatistical methods. 615 0$aBiometry. 615 0$aMathematical statistics$xData processing. 615 0$aMathematics. 615 14$aStatistical Theory and Methods. 615 24$aStatistics in Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Education, Behavorial Sciences, Public Policy. 615 24$aBiostatistics. 615 24$aStatistics and Computing. 615 24$aApplications of Mathematics. 676 $a519.5 700 $aKateri$b Maria$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0721771 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910300152303321 996 $aContingency table analysis$91410558 997 $aUNINA 999 $aThis Record contains information from the Harvard Library Bibliographic Dataset, which is provided by the Harvard Library under its Bibliographic Dataset Use Terms and includes data made available by, among others the Library of Congress
