Malnutrition is prevalent in stroke rehabilitation patients, and has serious negative effects on outcomes. In addition, there is growing interest in new concepts related to malnutrition, such as sarcopenia, frailty, cachexia, chronic inflammation, dysphagia, and oral problems, all of which contribute to a poor prognosis. Therefore, it is necessary to assess nutritional status early and, if needed, provide appropriate nutritional interventions to improve patient outcomes. A multidisciplinary approach is strongly recommended in this setting; as such, high-quality clinical evidence regarding clinical nutrition in stroke rehabilitation is needed. This reprint updates our knowledge of clinical nutrition for stroke patients and includes interesting studies on topics including nutrition and weight management in the early stages of stroke, the relationship between frailty and improved physical function, weight gain by providing stored energy, physical activity and diet quality, L-carnitine and cognitive levels, and the prediction of stroke prognosis using temporal muscles. The Guest Editor hopes that this reprint will help provide clinicians with up-to-date knowledge of nutritional management in stroke rehabilitation. 606 $aBiology, life sciences$2bicssc 606 $aResearch and information: general$2bicssc 610 $aactivity of daily living 610 $aaggressive rehabilitation nutrition 610 $abody weight 610 $abody weight gain 610 $aCharlson Comorbidity Index 610 $aconvalescent rehabilitation 610 $aDietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension Quality 610 $adiffusion kurtosis imaging 610 $adiffusion tensor imaging 610 $adisability 610 $aenergy intake 610 $afrailty 610 $afunctional recovery 610 $ahealth literacy 610 $ahealth-related behaviors 610 $ahemodialysis 610 $ahome-discharge 610 $aInternational Classification of Diseases 610 $ainternational physical activity questionnaire 610 $al-carnitine 610 $amalnutrition 610 $amalnutrition risks 610 $amuscle volume 610 $an/a 610 $aneurite orientation dispersion and density imaging 610 $anutritional management 610 $anutritional status 610 $aprognostic factor 610 $aSARC-F score 610 $asarcopenia 610 $askeletal muscle mass 610 $askeletal muscle mass gain 610 $astored energy 610 $astroke 610 $astroke patient 610 $atemporal muscle thickness 610 $avascular dementia 610 $aVietnam 610 $aWorld Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule II 615 7$aBiology, life sciences 615 7$aResearch and information: general 700 $aYoshimura$b Yoshihiro$4edt$01300065 702 $aYoshimura$b Yoshihiro$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910576883703321 996 $aRecent Advances in Clinical Nutrition in Stroke Rehabilitation$93025395 997 $aUNINA
