In this editorial, we will provide a brief overview of the contents of this Special Issue. In particular, nanoplatforms originating from the synergistic combination of carbon-based nanomaterials (i.e., nanotubes, graphene, graphene oxide, carbon quantum dots, nanodiamond, etc.) with various functional molecules such as drugs, natural compounds, biomolecules, polymers, metal nanoparticles, and macrocycles that have useful applications in drug delivery, multi-targeted therapies, theranostic as well as scaffolds in tissue engineering, and as sensing materials have been selected for publication as Articles or Mini Reviews. The variety of applications covered by the nine articles published in this Special Issue of Nanomaterials are proof of the growing attention that the use of carbon nanomaterials in the biomedical/pharmaceutical field has received in recent years. We hope that readers find the contents of this Special Issue useful for their research, which is aimed to advance carbon nanomaterials from the laboratory to clinical nanomedicine. 606 $aIndustrial chemistry and chemical engineering$2bicssc 606 $aTechnology: general issues$2bicssc 610 $aantibacterial nanosystems 610 $aarterial thrombosis 610 $abiodistribution 610 $ableeding disorder 610 $aCaco-2 610 $acalcium phosphate deposition 610 $acamptothecin 610 $acancer 610 $acarbon dots 610 $acarbon nanomaterials 610 $acarbon nanotubes 610 $acirculating nucleic acids 610 $acirculating tumor cells 610 $acortical membranes 610 $acovalent functionalization 610 $aCOVID-19 610 $acytotoxicity 610 $aDopamine 610 $adoxorubicin 610 $adrug delivery 610 $adrug delivery systems 610 $aEwing sarcoma 610 $aexosomes 610 $agraphene 610 $agraphene oxide 610 $agraphene/gold nanocomposite 610 $aJ-aggregates 610 $aliquid biopsy 610 $aMCF-7 610 $an/a 610 $ananodiamond 610 $aNanoHy-GPS 610 $ananohybrids 610 $ananomedicine 610 $ananoparticles 610 $aone-pot microwave-assisted reaction 610 $aplatelet aggregation 610 $apolyvinyl alcohol 610 $aporphyrin 610 $apyrrole 610 $aRhodamine 6G 610 $aSERS 610 $asignaling molecules 610 $asilver nanoparticles 610 $asiRNA 610 $atritium 615 7$aIndustrial chemistry and chemical engineering 615 7$aTechnology: general issues 700 $aMazzaglia$b Antonino$4edt$0789454 702 $aPiperno$b Anna$4edt 702 $aMazzaglia$b Antonino$4oth 702 $aPiperno$b Anna$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910580204103321 996 $aCarbon Nanomaterials for Therapy, Diagnosis, and Biosensing$93029478 997 $aUNINA
