Drawing on sound studies and transmedial narratology, audionarratology combines concepts from both while also offering fresh insights. Sound studies investigate sound in its various manifestations from disciplinary angles as varied as anthropology, history, sociology, acoustics, articulatory phonetics, musicology or sound psychology. Still, a specifically narrative focus is often missing. Narratology has broadened its scope to look at narratives from transdisciplinary and transmedial perspectives. However, there is a bias towards visual or audio-visual media such as comics and graphic novels, film, TV, hyperfiction and pictorial art. The aim of this book is to foreground the oral and aural sides of storytelling, asking how sound, voice and music support narrative structure or even assume narrative functions in their own right. It brings together cutting-edge research on forms of sound narration hitherto neglected in narratology: radio plays, audiobooks, audio guides, mobile phone theatre, performance poetry, concept albums, digital stories, computer games, songs. 410 0$aNarratologia ;$vVolume 52. 606 $aNarration (Rhetoric) 610 $aRadio plays. 610 $anarrative theory. 610 $asoundscapes. 610 $atransmediality. 615 0$aNarration (Rhetoric) 676 $a808 686 $aEC 6008$2rvk 702 $aMildorf$b Jarmila 702 $aKinzel$b Till 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910798106803321 996 $aAudionarratology$93848364 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01070nam 2200325 450 001 996640272803316 005 20260513125838.0 010 $a978-88-6030-162-8 100 $a20250123d2008----km y0itay5003 ba 101 0 $aita 102 $aIT 105 $aaaa 001yy 200 1 $aMedical humanities e medicina narrativa$enuove prospettive nella formazione dei professionisti della cura$fLucia Zannini 210 $aMilano$cRaffaello Cortina Editore$d2008 215 $aXVIII, 262 p.$cill.$d23 cm 225 2 $aPedagogie dello sviluppo 410 0$1001$12001$aPedagogie dello sviluppo 606 0 $aMedicina$xSociologia$2BNCF 676 $a306.461 700 1$aZANNINI,$bLucia$0477171 801 0$aIT$bcba$gREICAT 912 $a996640272803316 951 $a306.461 ZAN 1$b4744 Med.$c306.461$d00337932 951 $a306.461 ZAN 1 a$b4686 Med.$c306.461$d00338094 951 $a306.461 ZAN 1 b$b6889 Farm.$c306.461$d00338569 959 $aBK 969 $aMED 969 $aFAR 996 $aMedical humanities e medicina narrativa$94309627 997 $aUNISA
