Based on case studies drawn from personal, business, institutional and official records, as well as newspaper reports and visual illustrations, it looks at workplace dynamics and handmade wares shaped by personal consumption, rather than industrial production. Stana Nenadic examines the 'things' that were made and the values they embodied at a time when most Scots were still engaged in hand making - either for income or pleasure - despite Scotland's emergence as a great industrial powerhouse. 410 0$aEdinburgh scholarship online. 606 $aArtisans$zScotland$xHistory$y19th century 606 $aHandicraft$zScotland$xHistory$y19th century 615 0$aArtisans$xHistory 615 0$aHandicraft$xHistory 676 $a745.509411 700 $aNenadic$b Stana$0140262 801 0$bStDuBDS 801 1$bStDuBDS 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996552365303316 996 $aCraftworkers in nineteenth century Scotland$93265298 997 $aUNISA LEADER 02753nam 22005413 450 001 9910424609303321 005 20241230084507.0 024 7 $a10.36253/978-88-6655-620-6 035 $a(CKB)2560000000363546 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/42784 035 $a(NjHacI)992560000000363546 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC31861576 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL31861576 035 $a(oapen)doab42784 035 $a(EXLCZ)992560000000363546 100 $a20241230d2014 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aCatalogue of Books Printed Before 1801 in the Legal Historical Section of the Biblioteca Di Scienze Sociali Dell'Universitą Degli Studi Di Firenze $eI. from the Beginning of Printing To 1600 205 $a1st ed. 210 $cFirenze University Press$d2014 210 1$aFirenze :$cFirenze University Press,$d2014. 210 4$d©2014. 215 $a1 electronic resource (440 p.) 225 1 $aFonti storiche e letterarie ? This volume encompasses 1,532 editions published from the beginning of printing to 1600. The present Florence library is the successor to that of the Facoltà di Giurisprudenza, the nucleus of which is the historic collection of the Collegio degli Avvocati di Firenze acquired in 1924. Supplemented by further important acquisitions, including the library of the Corte d'Appello, the collection has come to be numbered among the foremost in its field in Italy. The 16th century volume exhibits a wide range not only of the famous medieval authors of the ius commune, but also of the growing number of contemporary 16th century jurists. 410 0$aFonti Storiche e Letterarie - Edizioni Cartacee e Digitali Series 606 $aLaw$zEuropean Union countries 606 $aLaw$zEurope 615 0$aLaw 615 0$aLaw 676 $a349.4 700 $aOsler$b Douglas J$0294416 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910424609303321 996 $aCatalogue of books printed before 1801 in the legal historical section of the Biblioteca di scienze sociali dell'Universita? degli studi di Firenze$93362736 997 $aUNINA
