The main technique used is pseudodifferential calculus, including global and semiclassical variants. The main results concern the meromorphic continuation of the spectral zeta function associated with the spectrum, and the localization (and the multiplicity) of the eigenvalues of such systems, described in terms of ?classical? invariants (such as the periods of the periodic trajectories of the bicharacteristic flow associated with the eiganvalues of the symbol). The book utilizes techniques that are very powerful and flexible and presents an approach that could also be used for a variety of other problems. It also features expositions on different results throughout the literature. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Mathematics,$x0075-8434 ;$v1992 606 $aPartial differential equations 606 $aGlobal analysis (Mathematics) 606 $aManifolds (Mathematics) 606 $aMathematical physics 606 $aPartial Differential Equations$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M12155 606 $aGlobal Analysis and Analysis on Manifolds$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M12082 606 $aTheoretical, Mathematical and Computational Physics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P19005 615 0$aPartial differential equations. 615 0$aGlobal analysis (Mathematics). 615 0$aManifolds (Mathematics). 615 0$aMathematical physics. 615 14$aPartial Differential Equations. 615 24$aGlobal Analysis and Analysis on Manifolds. 615 24$aTheoretical, Mathematical and Computational Physics. 676 $a515.353 700 $aParmeggiani$b Alberto$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0478937 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996466515903316 996 $aSpectral theory of non-commutative harmonic oscillators: an introduction$92572912 997 $aUNISA LEADER 03479nam 22007333u 450 001 9910777987703321 005 20230725041210.0 010 $a0-8223-8795-6 024 7 $a10.1515/9780822387954 035 $a(CKB)1000000000758114 035 $a(EBL)1169341 035 $a(OCoLC)220950734 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000391712 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11280249 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000391712 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10346879 035 $a(PQKB)11569111 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC1169341 035 $a(DE-B1597)553804 035 $a(DE-B1597)9780822387954 035 $a(OCoLC)1224279012 035 $a(EXLCZ)991000000000758114 100 $a20131216d2010|||| u|| | 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 14$aThe Borderlands of Culture$b[electronic resource] $eAme?rico Paredes and the Transnational Imaginary 210 $aDurham $cDuke University Press$d2010 215 $a1 online resource (537 p.) 225 1 $aNew Americanists 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 $a0-8223-3776-2 327 $aContents; Acknowledgments; Introduction: In Memoriam; Part I History and Remembrance as Social Aesthetics; 1 ''The Memory Is All That Matters''; 2 A Life in the Borderlands; Part II Fictions of the Transnational Imaginary; 3 The Checkerboard of Consciousness in George Washington Go?mez; 4 Transnational Modernisms: Paredes, Roosevelt, Rockwell, Bulosan, and the Four Freedoms; 5 Paredes and the Modernist Vernacular Intellectuals: George I.
