In the author's book series "The Art of Computer Programming", MMIX replaces the 1960s-style machine MIX. A particular goal in the design of MMIX was to keep its machine language simple, elegant, and easy to learn. At the same time, all of the complexities needed to achieve high performance in practice are taken into account. This book constitutes a collection of programs written in CWEB that make MMIX a virtual reality. Among other utilities, an assembler converting MMIX symbolic files to MMIX objects and two simulators executing the programs in given object files are provided. The latest version of all programs can be downloaded from MMIX's home page. The book provides a complete documentation of the MMIX computer and its assembly language. It also presents mini-indexes, which make the programs much easier to understand. A corrected reprint of the book has been published in August 2014, replacing the version of 1999. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Computer Science,$x0302-9743 ;$v1750 606 $aComputer architecture$xEvaluation 615 0$aComputer architecture$xEvaluation. 676 $a004.22 700 $aKnuth$b Donald Ervin$f1938-$048274 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bUtOrBLW 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996466366703316 996 $aMMIXware$92238291 997 $aUNISA LEADER 01736nam 2200421z- 450 001 9910346766403321 005 20210211 010 $a1000062132 035 $a(CKB)4920000000100858 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/47788 035 $a(oapen)doab47788 035 $a(EXLCZ)994920000000100858 100 $a20202102d2017 |y 0 101 0 $ager 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aFMCW-Radarsignalverarbeitung zur Entfernungsmessung mit hoher Genauigkeit 210 $cKIT Scientific Publishing$d2017 215 $a1 online resource (XV, 140 p. p.) 225 1 $aKarlsruher Forschungsberichte aus dem Institut für Hochfrequenztechnik und Elektronik 311 08$a3-7315-0607-6 330 $aDistance measurements with micrometer accuracies are essential for the control of industrial machines. This work investigates the maximum possible accuracy of FMCW radar systems, which use an additional phase evaluation. The feasibility of the developed techniques is shown in different industrial applications. An accuracy better than 1 µm is demonstrated in measurements. 606 $aTechnology: general issues$2bicssc 610 $aaccuracy 610 $adistance measurement 610 $aEntfernungsmessung 610 $aGenauigkeitradar 610 $aRadar 610 $asignal processing 610 $aSignalverarbeitung 615 7$aTechnology: general issues 700 $aScherr$b Steffen$4auth$01312918 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910346766403321 996 $aFMCW-Radarsignalverarbeitung zur Entfernungsmessung mit hoher Genauigkeit$93031119 997 $aUNINA
