Since then there has been continuous activity with strong influence both on the applications and the theoretical foundations of methodologies for software design. The Ninth Workshop on Specification of Abstract Data Types was held jointly with the Fourth COMPASS Workshop in Spain in 1992. The main topics covered were: object-oriented specifications, rewriting methods, specification languages and associated tools, type systems, and algebraic specification of concurrency. This volumes contains four invited papers presented at the workshop together with the final versions of 17 contributed papers selected after a careful refereeing process from 46 submissions. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Computer Science,$x0302-9743 ;$v785 606 $aSoftware engineering 606 $aProgramming languages (Electronic computers) 606 $aComputer logic 606 $aSoftware Engineering$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14029 606 $aProgramming Languages, Compilers, Interpreters$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14037 606 $aLogics and Meanings of Programs$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I1603X 615 0$aSoftware engineering. 615 0$aProgramming languages (Electronic computers). 615 0$aComputer logic. 615 14$aSoftware Engineering. 615 24$aProgramming Languages, Compilers, Interpreters. 615 24$aLogics and Meanings of Programs. 676 $a005.7/3 702 $aEhrig$b Hartmut$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aOrejas$b Fernando$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 712 12$aWorkshop on Specification of Abstract Data Types 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996466255203316 996 $aRecent Trends in Data Type Specification$92829876 997 $aUNISA
