Since the 1990s, the Internet has become the main driving force behind application development in all domains. An increase in the demand for resource sharing across different sites connected through networks has led to an evolution of data- and knowledge-management systems from centralized systems to decentralized systems enabling large-scale distributed applications providing high scalability. Current decentralized systems still focus on data and knowledge as their main resource. Feasibility of these systems relies basically on P2P (peer-to-peer) techniques and the support of agent systems with scaling and decentralized control. Synergy between grids, P2P systems, and agent technologies is the key to data- and knowledge-centered systems in large-scale environments. This, the sixth issue of Transactions on Large-Scale Data- and Knowledge-Centered Systems, contains eight extended and revised versions of papers selected from those presented at DEXA 2011. Topics covered include skyline queries, probabilistic logics and reasoning, theory of conceptual modeling, prediction in networks of moving objects, validation of XML integrity constraints, management of loosely structured multi-dimensional data, data discovery in the presence of annotations, and quality ranking for Web articles. 410 0$aTransactions on Large-Scale Data- and Knowledge-Centered Systems,$x1869-1994 ;$v7600 606 $aDatabase management 606 $aData mining 606 $aArtificial intelligence 606 $aData structures (Computer science) 606 $aComputer simulation 606 $aInformation storage and retrieval 606 $aDatabase Management$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I18024 606 $aData Mining and Knowledge Discovery$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I18030 606 $aArtificial Intelligence$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I21000 606 $aData Storage Representation$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I15025 606 $aSimulation and Modeling$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I19000 606 $aInformation Storage and Retrieval$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I18032 615 0$aDatabase management. 615 0$aData mining. 615 0$aArtificial intelligence. 615 0$aData structures (Computer science). 615 0$aComputer simulation. 615 0$aInformation storage and retrieval. 615 14$aDatabase Management. 615 24$aData Mining and Knowledge Discovery. 615 24$aArtificial Intelligence. 615 24$aData Storage Representation. 615 24$aSimulation and Modeling. 615 24$aInformation Storage and Retrieval. 676 $a003/.71 702 $aHameurlain$b Abdelkader$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aKüng$b Josef$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aWagner$b Roland$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aLiddle$b Stephen W$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aSchewe$b Klaus-Dieter$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aZhou$b Xiaofang$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996466186603316 996 $aTransactions on Large-Scale Data- and Knowledge-Centered Systems VI$92830479 997 $aUNISA LEADER 02059oam 2200517 450 001 9910709604403321 005 20180810123903.0 035 $a(CKB)5470000002472197 035 $a(OCoLC)988767832 035 $a(EXLCZ)995470000002472197 100 $a20170601d199812 ua 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 14$aThe COBRAS synthetic theater of war exercise trial: summary and report of findings /$fCharlotte H.
