This event was the third in a series which started with the two European workshops: EuroGP?98, held in Paris in April 1998, and EuroGP?99, held in Gothenburg in May 1999. EuroGP 2000 was held in conjunction with EvoWo- shops 2000 (17th April) and ICES 2000 (17th-19th April). Genetic Programming (GP) is a growing branch of Evolutionary Compu- tion in which the structures in the population being evolved are computer p- grams. GP has been applied successfully to a large number of di?cult problems like automatic design, pattern recognition, robotic control, synthesis of neural networks, symbolic regression, music and picture generation, biomedical app- cations, etc. In recent years,even human-competitive results have been achieved by a number of groups. EuroGP 2000, the ?rst evolutionary computation conference of the new m- lennium, was the biggest event devoted to genetic programming to be held in Europe in 2000. It was a high quality conference where state-of-the-art work on the theory of GP and applications of GP to real world problems was presented. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Computer Science,$x0302-9743 ;$v1802 606 $aArtificial intelligence 606 $aMedicine 606 $aComputer programming 606 $aComputers 606 $aPattern recognition 606 $aBioinformatics  606 $aComputational biology  606 $aArtificial Intelligence$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I21000 606 $aMedicine/Public Health, general$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H00007 606 $aProgramming Techniques$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14010 606 $aComputation by Abstract Devices$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I16013 606 $aPattern Recognition$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I2203X 606 $aComputer Appl. in Life Sciences$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/L17004 615 0$aArtificial intelligence. 615 0$aMedicine. 615 0$aComputer programming. 615 0$aComputers. 615 0$aPattern recognition. 615 0$aBioinformatics . 615 0$aComputational biology . 615 14$aArtificial Intelligence. 615 24$aMedicine/Public Health, general. 615 24$aProgramming Techniques. 615 24$aComputation by Abstract Devices. 615 24$aPattern Recognition. 615 24$aComputer Appl. in Life Sciences. 676 $a006.3/1 702 $aPoli$b Riccardo$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aBanzhaf$b Wolfgang$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aLangdon$b William B$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aMiller$b Julian F$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aNordin$b Peter$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aFogarty$b Terence C$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 712 12$aEuropGP 2000 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996465850403316 996 $aGenetic Programming$9772374 997 $aUNISA
