This series of workshops is designed to strengthen the cooperation between the German and Chinese institutions active in the area of these technologies. It has continued to grow, providing an excellent forum for reporting advances in parallel processing technologies. The 5th workshop itself addressed the entire gamut of related topics, ranging from the architectural aspects of parallel computer hardware and system software to the applied technologies for novel applications. For this workshop, we received over 191 full submissions from researchers all over the world. All the papers were peer-reviewed in depth and qualitatively graded on their relevance, originality, signi?cance, presentation, and the overall appropriateness for their acceptance. Any concerns raised were discussed in the program committee. The organizing committee did an excellent job in selecting 78 papers (Among them, 21 were short ones) for presentation. In short, the papers included here represent the forefront of research from China, Germany, and the other countries. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Computer Science,$x0302-9743 ;$v2834 606 $aSoftware engineering 606 $aComputer hardware 606 $aComputer organization 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aNumerical analysis 606 $aComputer science?Mathematics 606 $aSoftware Engineering/Programming and Operating Systems$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14002 606 $aComputer Hardware$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I1200X 606 $aComputer Systems Organization and Communication Networks$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I13006 606 $aAlgorithm Analysis and Problem Complexity$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I16021 606 $aNumeric Computing$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I1701X 606 $aDiscrete Mathematics in Computer Science$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I17028 615 0$aSoftware engineering. 615 0$aComputer hardware. 615 0$aComputer organization. 615 0$aAlgorithms. 615 0$aNumerical analysis. 615 0$aComputer science?Mathematics. 615 14$aSoftware Engineering/Programming and Operating Systems. 615 24$aComputer Hardware. 615 24$aComputer Systems Organization and Communication Networks. 615 24$aAlgorithm Analysis and Problem Complexity. 615 24$aNumeric Computing. 615 24$aDiscrete Mathematics in Computer Science. 676 $a004.35 702 $aZhou$b Xingming$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aJähnichen$b Stefan$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aXu$b Ming$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aCao$b Jiannong$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 712 12$aAPPT 2003 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996465796703316 996 $aAdvanced Parallel Processing Technologies$9772498 997 $aUNISA LEADER 04331nam 2201213z- 450 001 9910557466603321 005 20231214133230.0 035 $a(CKB)5400000000043132 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/69111 035 $a(EXLCZ)995400000000043132 100 $a20202105d2020 |y 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aAdvances in Low-carbon and Stainless Steels 210 $aBasel, Switzerland$cMDPI - Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute$d2020 215 $a1 electronic resource (220 p.) 311 $a3-03928-869-5 311 $a3-03928-870-9 330 $aThis Special Issue of Metals was dedicated to recent advances in low-carbon and stainless steels. Although these types of steels are not new, they are still receiving considerable attention from both research and industry sectors due to their wide range of applications and their complex microstructure and behavior under different conditions. The microstructure of low-carbon and stainless steels resulting from solidification, phase transformation, and hot working is complex, which, in turn, affect their performance under different working conditions. A detailed understanding of the microstructure, properties, and performance for these steels has been the aim of steel scientists for a long time. This Issue received quality papers on different aspects of these steels including their solidification, thermomechanical processing, phase transformation, texture, etc., and their mechanical and corrosion behaviors. 606 $aHistory of engineering & technology$2bicssc 610 $apitting 610 $asigma phase 610 $a2205 610 $aduplex stainless steel 610 $aaustenitic stainless steel 610 $acold deformation 610 $amicrostructures 610 $amechanical properties 610 $aaustenite 610 $asteel 610 $athermomechanical processing 610 $aphase transformation 610 $anucleation 610 $aferrite 610 $aCCT 610 $aTTT 610 $aincubation 610 $atransformation start 610 $aFAC 610 $aLBE 610 $aturbulent flow 610 $adissolution 610 $amodelling 610 $alow-carbon AHSS 610 $aQ& 610 $aP 610 $atoughness 610 $aprecipitation 610 $amartensite packet 610 $amechanical characterization 610 $amartensitic transformations 610 $adynamic transformation 610 $aNb-microalloyed steel 610 $aroughing passes 610 $ahot forming 610 $amultiphase steel 610 $aquenching and partitioning 610 $aaustempering 610 $aGleeble simulation 610 $apress hardening 610 $amartensite 610 $aquenching 610 $apartitioning 610 $adilatometry 610 $aEBSD-IQ 610 $afast heating rate 610 $aformation of austenite 610 $ainitial microstructure 610 $aPAGS 610 $atransformation behavior 610 $atensile properties 610 $ametastability 610 $aLCF 610 $aHCF 610 $aVHCF 610 $aambient and elevated temperatures 610 $acarbon steel 610 $arotationally accelerated shot peening 610 $ananocrystalline 610 $acorrosion resistance 610 $atransformation kinetics 610 $alocal equilibrium 610 $apara equilibrium 610 $aCr-rich precipitate 610 $ainterphase boundary 610 $atype 430 stainless steel 610 $aHSLA steel 610 $aalloy design 610 $agrain refinement of austenite 610 $aZener pinning force 610 $arecrystallization 610 $aNiobium Nb 615 7$aHistory of engineering & technology 700 $aHaghdadi$b Nima$4edt$01318481 702 $aSomani$b Mahesh$4edt 702 $aHaghdadi$b Nima$4oth 702 $aSomani$b Mahesh$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557466603321 996 $aAdvances in Low-carbon and Stainless Steels$93033310 997 $aUNINA
