INTRUST 2009 was the ?rst international conference on the theory, technologies and applications of trusted systems. It was devoted to all aspects of trusted computing systems, incl- ing trusted modules, platforms, networks, services and applications, from their fundamental features and functionalities to design principles, architecture and implementation technologies. The goal of the conference was to bring academic and industrial researchers, designers and implementers together with end-users of trusted systems, in order to foster the exchange of ideas in this challenging and fruitful area. The program consisted of 3 invited talks and 20 contributed papers. The - vited speakerswere Wenchang Shi (Renmin Universityof China), DavidWooten (Microsoft) and Scott Rotondo (Sun Microsystems). The ?rst speaker provided a paper, which is included in these proceedings. Special thanks are due to these speakers. The contributed talks were arranged with two main tracks, one devoted to academic aspects of trusted computing systems (addressed by these proce- ings), and the other devoted to industrial aspects. The contributed papers were selected out of 42 submissions from 13 countries. The refereeing process was rigorous, involving at least three (and mostly more) independent reports being prepared for each submission. We are very grateful to our hard-working and distinguished Program Committee for doing such an excellent job in a timely fashion. 410 0$aSecurity and Cryptology ;$v6163 606 $aComputer science 606 $aComputer networks 606 $aCryptography 606 $aData encryption (Computer science) 606 $aElectronic data processing?Management 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aComputers and civilization 606 $aTheory of Computation 606 $aComputer Communication Networks 606 $aCryptology 606 $aIT Operations 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aComputers and Society 615 0$aComputer science. 615 0$aComputer networks. 615 0$aCryptography. 615 0$aData encryption (Computer science). 615 0$aElectronic data processing?Management. 615 0$aAlgorithms. 615 0$aComputers and civilization. 615 14$aTheory of Computation. 615 24$aComputer Communication Networks. 615 24$aCryptology. 615 24$aIT Operations. 615 24$aAlgorithms. 615 24$aComputers and Society. 676 $a005.8 702 $aChen$b Liqun$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aYung$b Moti$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996465788903316 996 $aTrusted Systems$92556477 997 $aUNISA LEADER 03338nas 2200649- 450 001 9910256654903321 005 20241223110555.0 011 $a2504-2289 035 $a(OCoLC)1048121999 035 $a(CKB)3710000001006984 035 $a(CONSER)--2019227455 035 $a(MiFhGG)00H4 035 $a(MiAaPQ)2061777 035 $a(DE-599)ZDB2895385-X 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000001006984 100 $a20180310a20179999 s-- - 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aBig data and cognitive computing 210 $aBasel, Switzerland $cMDPI$d2017- 300 $aTitle from content provider. 300 $a"Big Data and Cognitive Computing (ISSN 2504-2289) is an international, scientific, peer-reviewed, open access journal of big data and cognitive computing published quarterly online by MDPI." 300 $aRefereed/Peer-reviewed 330 $a"In the past decade, the computer and information industry has experienced rapid changes in both platform scale and scope of applications. Computers, smart phones, clouds, social networks, and supercomputers demand not only high performance but also a high degree of machine intelligence. As a matter of fact, we are entering an era of big data and cognitive computing. In the big data era, successful cloud systems, web services and supercomputer centers must be designed to discover, store, process, learn, analyze, and predict from a massive amount of data. To face these new computing and communication changes, we must upgrade the clouds and the computing ecosystem with new capabilities, such as machine learning, IoT sensing, data analytics, and cognitive machines mimicking human intelligence. This journal blends together big-data theories with emerging technologies on smart clouds and exploring supercomputers with new applications"--About page, viewed August 8, 2019. 531 1 $aBig data cogn. computing 606 $aData mining$vPeriodicals 606 $aElectronic data processing$xDistributed processing$vPeriodicals 606 $aInformation retrieval$vPeriodicals 606 $aWeb services$vPeriodicals 606 $aWeb services$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst01173242 606 $aInformation retrieval$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst00972619 606 $aElectronic data processing$xDistributed processing$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst00906987 606 $aData mining$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst00887946 606 $aExploration de données (Informatique)$vPériodiques 606 $aTraitement réparti$vPériodiques 606 $aRecherche de l'information$vPériodiques 606 $aServices Web$vPériodiques 608 $aPeriodicals.$2fast 615 0$aData mining 615 0$aElectronic data processing$xDistributed processing 615 0$aInformation retrieval 615 0$aWeb services 615 7$aWeb services. 615 7$aInformation retrieval. 615 7$aElectronic data processing$xDistributed processing. 615 7$aData mining. 615 6$aExploration de données (Informatique) 615 6$aTraitement réparti 615 6$aRecherche de l'information 615 6$aServices Web 906 $aJOURNAL 912 $a9910256654903321 996 $aBig data and cognitive computing$91922289 997 $aUNINA
