The areas in which the ACPC is active include algorithms, languages, compilers, programming environments, and applications for parallel and high-performance computing systems. This volume contains the proceedings of the First International Conference of the SCPC, held in Salzburg, Austria, September 30 - October 2, 1991. Authors from 15 countries submitted 66 papers, from which 28 were selected and presented at the conference. They appear in this volume together with 8 invited papers by distinguished researchers. Based on the quality of the papers presented and the response of the participants, the ACPC has decided to organize a conference every other year. The second ACPC conference will take place in Vienna in June 1993. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Computer Science,$x0302-9743 ;$v591 606 $aArchitecture, Computer 606 $aProgramming languages (Electronic computers) 606 $aSoftware engineering 606 $aComputer programming 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aComputer System Implementation$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I13057 606 $aProgramming Languages, Compilers, Interpreters$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14037 606 $aSoftware Engineering/Programming and Operating Systems$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14002 606 $aProgramming Techniques$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14010 606 $aSoftware Engineering$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14029 606 $aAlgorithm Analysis and Problem Complexity$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I16021 615 0$aArchitecture, Computer. 615 0$aProgramming languages (Electronic computers). 615 0$aSoftware engineering. 615 0$aComputer programming. 615 0$aAlgorithms. 615 14$aComputer System Implementation. 615 24$aProgramming Languages, Compilers, Interpreters. 615 24$aSoftware Engineering/Programming and Operating Systems. 615 24$aProgramming Techniques. 615 24$aSoftware Engineering. 615 24$aAlgorithm Analysis and Problem Complexity. 676 $a005.1/1 702 $aZima$b Hans P$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 712 12$aInternational ACPC Conference 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996465733503316 996 $aParallel Computation$9376527 997 $aUNISA
