ISVC offers a common umbrella for the four main areas of visual computing including vision, graphics, visualization, and virtual reality. Its goal is to provide a forum for researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas, developments, and applications in the broader area of visual computing. Thisyear,theprogramconsistedof14oralsessions,1postersession,6special tracks, and 6 keynote presentations. Following a very successful ISVC 2006, the response to the call for papers was almost equally strong; we received over 270 submissions for the main symposium from which we accepted 77 papers for oral presentation and 42 papers for poster presentation. Special track papers were solicited separately through the Organizing and Program Committees of each track. A total of 32 papers were accepted for oral presentation and 5 papers for poster presentation in the special tracks. 410 0$aImage Processing, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, and Graphics ;$v4841 606 $aSoftware engineering 606 $aPattern recognition 606 $aOptical data processing 606 $aBiometrics (Biology) 606 $aArtificial intelligence 606 $aComputer graphics 606 $aSoftware Engineering/Programming and Operating Systems$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14002 606 $aPattern Recognition$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I2203X 606 $aImage Processing and Computer Vision$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I22021 606 $aBiometrics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I22040 606 $aArtificial Intelligence$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I21000 606 $aComputer Graphics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I22013 615 0$aSoftware engineering. 615 0$aPattern recognition. 615 0$aOptical data processing. 615 0$aBiometrics (Biology). 615 0$aArtificial intelligence. 615 0$aComputer graphics. 615 14$aSoftware Engineering/Programming and Operating Systems. 615 24$aPattern Recognition. 615 24$aImage Processing and Computer Vision. 615 24$aBiometrics. 615 24$aArtificial Intelligence. 615 24$aComputer Graphics. 676 $a005.1 702 $aBoyle$b Richard$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aParvin$b Bahram$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aKoracin$b Darko$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aParagios$b Nikos$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aTanveer$b Syeda-Mahmood$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aJu$b Tao$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aLiu$b Zicheng$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aCoquillart$b Sabine$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aCruz-Neira$b Carolina$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aMöller$b Torsten$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aMalzbender$b Tom$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996465546403316 996 $aAdvances in Visual Computing$9772261 997 $aUNISA
