The five volumes contain papers presenting a wealth of original research results in the field of computational science, from foundational issues in computer science and mathematics to advanced applications in virtually all sciences making use of computational techniques. The topics of the fully refereed papers are structured according to the five major conference themes: geographical analysis, urban modeling, spatial statistics; cities, technologies and planning; computational geometry and applications; computer aided modeling, simulation, and analysis; and mobile communications. 410 0$aTheoretical Computer Science and General Issues,$x2512-2029 ;$v6783 606 $aComputer networks 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aSoftware engineering 606 $aComputer simulation 606 $aApplication software 606 $aData mining 606 $aComputer Communication Networks 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aSoftware Engineering 606 $aComputer Modelling 606 $aComputer and Information Systems Applications 606 $aData Mining and Knowledge Discovery 615 0$aComputer networks. 615 0$aAlgorithms. 615 0$aSoftware engineering. 615 0$aComputer simulation. 615 0$aApplication software. 615 0$aData mining. 615 14$aComputer Communication Networks. 615 24$aAlgorithms. 615 24$aSoftware Engineering. 615 24$aComputer Modelling. 615 24$aComputer and Information Systems Applications. 615 24$aData Mining and Knowledge Discovery. 676 $a004.6 702 $aMurgante$b Beniamino$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aGervasi$b Osvaldo$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aIglesias$b Andres$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aTaniar$b David$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aApduhan$b Bernady O$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996465419903316 996 $aComputational Science and Its Applications - ICCSA 2011$92830118 997 $aUNISA LEADER 04058nam 2200577Ia 450 001 9910973400703321 005 20200520144314.0 010 $a1-003-72228-8 010 $a1-4294-7826-8 010 $a615-5211-38-8 024 7 $a10.1515/9786155211386 035 $a(CKB)4100000007803137 035 $a(OCoLC)647654521 035 $a(MdBmJHUP)muse25931 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL3137244 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10191406 035 $a(OCoLC)939263419 035 $a(DE-B1597)633529 035 $a(DE-B1597)9786155211386 035 $a(Perlego)2056072 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC3137244 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000007803137 100 $a20070508d2007 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|||||||nn|n 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 04$aThe Apostolic Penitentiary in local contexts $e--et usque ad ultimum terrae /$fedited by Gerhard Jaritz, Torstein Jrgensen, Kirsi Salonen 205 $a1st ed. 210 $aBudapest ;$aNew York $cCentral European University, Department of Medieval Studies $cCentral European University Press ;$aRome $cHungarian Academy$d2007 215 $a1 online resource (129 pages) 225 1 $aCEU medievalia,$x1587-6470 ;$v10 311 08$a963-7326-83-9 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references. 327 $tFrontmatter -- $tTABLE OF CONTENTS -- $tIntroduction -- $tLOCAL NEEDS IN GLOBAL CONTEXTS -- $tPenitentiary Evidence and Local Archive Material: The Case of Upper Italy, 1438-1484 -- $tCanon Law in Norway Illustrated by the Penitentiary Texts: An Example of a European Centre?Periphery Perspective -- $tMARRIAGE AND SEXUAL CONDUCT -- $tIllegitimate Scots in the Registers of Supplications and the Registers of the Apostolic Penitentiary during the Pontificate of Sixtus IV (1471?1484) -- $tDiemunda and Heinrich ? The contributions make it clear that local and individual factors and the Christian faith and religion in practice must not be seen as separate from the global power of the Roman curia. The latter's influence could become directly important for any individual in any local space, even .et usque ad ultimum terrae (Acts 1:8), in the utmost peripheries of the Christian world. It is shown that the assistance of the Apostolic Penitentiary was indispensable in a large variety of cases. Such cases were dealt with both in the local, regional space and in the globalized centre of the Holy See. 410 0$aCEU medievalia ;$v10. 606 $aPenitents$xHistory 615 0$aPenitents$xHistory. 676 $a262/.136 701 $aJaritz$b Gerhard$f1949-$0152575 701 $aJrgensen$b Torstein$f1951-$01806002 701 $aSalonen$b Kirsi$0454214 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910973400703321 996 $aThe Apostolic Penitentiary in local contexts$94354913 997 $aUNINA
